SM-342 is a carboxylated styrene butadiene latex (hard rubber) specially designed for the production of shoe soles with high styrene content. SM-342 forms a hard and brittle film after high-temperature drying. SM-342 and SM-318 (soft adhesive) are mixed in different proportions, which can effectively adjust the hardness of the adhesive film to adapt to climate changes and the requirements of the bottom plate for bonding strength, bending flexibility, and hand feel in shoe materials. This can enable the shoe material to achieve ideal strength, stiffness, and good water resistance.
